Royal Household Staff List Released Online

Royal Household at Queen Victoria's Coronation

The Royal Household Staff list, containing 50,000 records has been released and put online, in a joint venture between the Royal Archive Collection and Find My Past.

This archive contains a database of 50,000 names of people who have worked for the Royal Household from 1660 in the reign of King Charles II, to 1924, in the reign of King George V.

There are a number of details contained in the records, name, duties, age, length of service and salary (not in all cases).

You can search by establishment or do a general search but you will have to pay for the search, so make sure you are armed with as much information about you ancestor as possible.
