World Wide Primary Source Repository

The ‘Repositories of Primary Sources’ is an understated website pulled together by Terry Abraham, listing over 5000 websites around the world, describing primary source holdings of manuscripts, archives, photos and much, much more.

    • Finding primary source material for family history projects can be a difficult process but a critical one for anyone who wants to create a rich well sourced project.

For example, if you are having trouble finding resources in the UK or the US, think how much harder it is if your research takes you to  Poland, Turkey, Russia or Singapore!

Certainly one to explore. Find out about original and primary source material in our Family History Toolkit
