Just to let you know about another very informative guide put together by Tufts University Library, this one for a Geo Spatial Digital Archive Project for SE Asia.

If  any of your family history includes colonialism or trade with countries in SE Asia then you will be able to explore a number of historic maps including Dutch colonial maps.

The Reisenett Maps of Historical Asia, are probably the most fascinating, many of them showing the urban growth and expansion of Indo China and Honk Kong. Take a look at the map of Indo China 1886, showing the proposed route of the Burma – Siam – China Railway….
