The M15 papers relating to the investigation by US authorities, was Charlie Chaplin a communist? have been released today.

The intriguing mystery is not so much about whether or not he was a communist but where he was born.

The mystery that neither the US nor the UK secret service seemed to be able to answer, will no doubt be answered by the genealogical community, this is bread and butter to them!
