British Women, together with women across the world, fought long and hard to just get the right to vote in the 20th century so definitely worth a look at who are the women are that made a difference in our British History.

Some maybe the unsung heroines not all sought fame, power or favour other than as an indirect consequence of their deeds or circumstances. Even when Women have been historically depicted as ‘damsels in distress’ we find some were more than equal to holding their own just by surviving. What a fabulous collection to research and simply enjoy s we find out more about these often extraordinary women who achieve their note in history by so many diverse paths. This one is for our mothers, grandmothers and those as yet to join us.
